Wow! What a way to start the week!

I turned my computer on today, checking this and that, went over to On Fire For Handmade and this is what I found!! Talk about a surprise!! What a great way to start the week, not to mention a confidence booster!!! I've really been enjoying this ning, and Anne from Made For Me By Oaklie and My Helping Hands is doing a terrific job with it!! She made this beautiful banner for me and I'm just loving it!!

She also created The Gift Shop Handmade ning and The Gift Shop Site. You can feature your shop or shops on this site for only $5.oo a month!! Christmas is coming!!

And boy, is it coming fast!! As of today, there are 101 days left! Even fewer shopping days!! It was just January a few days ago, right? That's what it feels like!! I'm honored to have been given these lovely awards from Crystal at Kizz...Day to Day. She's a wonderful person and friend!! Now I have the pleasure of passing on these awards to 10 more people! The "Tag You're It" award says to share 10 interesting facts about yourself and the "Premio Meme Award" says to share 7 facts. Well, I have combined the two as well, so here goes nothing!

1. I've been selling my jewelry online for 3 years. Wow. Has it been that long? Seems like only yesterday...

2. As much as I love making jewelry, I love working outside! Although, I'm afraid of bees! Guess that could have been #2!

3. I'd love to live on acreage with tall pine trees all around me!

4. I only have a few pieces of jewelry that I actually made for myself. Crazy, huh?!

5. I have 2 huge, fluffy dogs that I treasure, who happen to be my inspiration for my paw print jewelry. They're nice to hug too!

6. I'm learning more HTML and I'm lovin' it!

7. I've been a country music fan since, well, "when country wasn't cool"! Sound familiar? ;) A looooooong time!

8. I love steampunk! It's so cool! Yep, I did a feature on it and I still like to look at it!

9. Photographing "the outdoors" is another love of mine. I have the most adorable picture of a squirrel just chillin' on a tree branch. He's so cute!

10. I like watching classic movies whether they're horror or comedy! There's nothing like the classics!

Well, there you have it. Did I bore you? It's kind of challenging to think of 10 interesting things about yourself that you hope people don't find silly! =] Hope you smiled at least once! =] I'm having a wonderful time meeting new people and making friends through all of this networking stuff. I didn't think I'd enjoy it so much!

New Coordinating Jewelry~

Love matching jewelry!! Here are my latest creations~
I call this set "Alluring". The beautiful turquoise howlite and red coral chips just draw you in with their strong, bold colors! Call it southwest, call it western, I think it fits both! Each piece carries itself with it's own character. The unique, detailed metal beads in the bracelet, the stand-out star pendant on the popular multi-strand necklace and the little coral chips dangling in front of the turquoise beads in the earrings, can be worn all together as an amazing set or look just as stunning separate! You choose! =]

For the animal lover, here is another fantastic set which can be purchased individually as with all my coordinating jewelry. I call this "Forever Friends". We can always count on our litte furry pets to be there for us whether it's just for a quick hug or to cuddle with. The white horn beads paired up with the red horn beads give them a great textural appreance. The paw print really stands out between the red!!
